Raze

Description - Introducing one of the best single player tps( third person shooter xD) flash games. Enter the Raze universe and challenge bots ( who deceivingly look like real players). Fight your way through an epic campaign or just play some scrimmage frenzy. It is pretty awesome considering that it is a side scroller AND single-player. The sequel promises even better environments, new guns, and even MAYBE online multiplayer. It's currently number one on the crazy monkey games site, though it's made by Armor Games.

Gameplay - To be truthful, the funnest thing about it is the Quick Match mode. The Campaign mode is a bit tedious and it kind of merges into the Quick Match option. Meaning that most of what you do in Skirmish is what you will do in the Campaign. My suggestion would be that they add online play for sure and maybe enrich their campaign mode a little more so it would actually be interesting to finish let alone play. You can do numerous flips and you can elevate yourself to jump with some kind of mini jet-shoes ( seems like a cooler alternative to the plain and boring overused double jump).

Mechanics - I like the overall mechanics of the game. Some times the mouse may lag a bit when in combat but not extremely laggy. I can tell they have done well with the graphics and I really like the nice layout they have incorporated into the menu. The bots are surprisingly intelligent ( exaggeration). They follow your movements( but like all bots some of them just keep ramming themselves into a wall when you are a floor above or beneath them).

Maps- The maps are a nice back drop to the game play. The physical objects of the maps are basically the skeleton of a broken structure , with power ups and guns. Barriers are somewhat effective during combat but If you just want to live go to the highest point of the map and just spray ( though you might get unlucky if the bot jumps and shoots your camping ass).

Overall - They should improve some of the mechanical aspects. Like I said before, the mouse tends to lag a bit. When using the WASD buttons I noticed that some of the movements were not precise. Even though it is minimal it is still important during intense combat. You don't want to get head shotted by a frantic bot when you key board lags.I guess I like it....... for now.
